Standing Together for Latina Equal Pay

Representing our community at NAPRHSW was a powerful reminder of why intersectional advocacy remains at the heart of our mission. As we stood in solidarity, we amplified the urgent reality of the gender and racial wage gap that continues to hold back Latina workers across the nation. Earning significantly less on the dollar compared to white, non-Hispanic men translates to thousands of dollars lost annually—resources that directly support child care, housing, and education. Addressing these disparities is not just an economic issue; it is a fundamental matter of civil rights and social justice that requires our collective voice, visibility, and relentless push for systemic reform.

True social justice cannot be achieved while systemic barriers continue to shortchange the women who drive our economy forward. By connecting with allies and community leaders at NAPRHSW, we reinforced our unwavering commitment to dismantling the structures that perpetuate economic inequality. We call on policymakers, organizations, and communities to join us in demanding proactive legislation, workplace transparency, and economic equity so that future generations no longer have to wait decades for justice. Together, we will continue to advocate, educate, and fight until every Latina worker receives the full value of her labor and her future.
