In addition, the Associate Director will be liaison to the Board of Student Representatives, Student-Faculty Senate and other student alliances and groups; will coordinate the planning of school-wide student-focused events, including orientations, graduations, and Common Days; will develop and disseminate policy and protocol regarding student relations and update the student handbook annually for publication; will develop programs and mechanisms to strengthen student performance; oversee the Student Affairs budget; oversee and maintain student records in collaboration with the School’s Registrar; and supervise assigned staff members. The Associate Director of Student Affairs will serve on the Dean’s Senior Staff group.

To lead the organization into the future, CSWE seeks a president to serve as its chief executive officer.  Reporting to the board of directors and managing a budget of $5 million and a staff of more than 30, the president will lead CSWE during a period when higher education has become increasingly visible as a matter of national and international policy.  The president of CSWE, which is headquartered in Alexandria, VA, will work closely with the board and membership to add the voice of social work education to these national and international discussions.

Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in human service field
- Licensed professional with 3 to 5 years behavioral health clinical experience
- Experience in inpatient MH inpatient detoxification or inpatient rehab
- Specific experience with targeted population including inpatient drug and alcohol, inpatient adult mental health, or inpatient child mental health
- Supervisory or other leadership experience in behavioral health also preferred
- General knowledge of best practices in behavioral health, emphasizing work with special needs or priority populations and in public sector systems
- Familiarity with Medicaid programs at the state and local level
- General knowledge of managed care functional areas, including terms and definitions
- NY State Licensure

NYC Department of Homeless Services-Deputy Commissioner for Adult Services Position

The NYC Department of Homeless Services (DHS) operates the nation’s most comprehensive shelter system for homeless adults and families through a network of directly operated facilities and programs and not-for-profit partnerships.

DHS seeks a dynamic executive with proven management and leadership skills to serve as its Deputy Commissioner for Adult Services.  Reporting to the Commissioner and as an integral member of the agency’s executive team, the selected candidate will oversee DHS’ Adult Services division comprised of approximately 500 employees with a combined operating and capital budget in excess of $332 million.  The Division’s portfolio includes a 9,500 bed shelter system for single homeless men and women; 1,400-unit shelter system for Adult Families; street outreach services; and the re-housing of homeless adults.
